Olympic Medals

In extension, we had to design an olympic medal. We had to think about what the olympics would look like in New Zealand. Once we had ideas we planned them on piece of paper. As you can see I have put a kiwi bird, a silver fern and the skytower. These represent New Zealand.

Olympics: The Men's Rowing Pair

Hamish Bond and Eric Murray won a gold medal when they were the first across the finish line. I bet everyone in New Zealand was feeling very proud of them. I also think they were felling good about them selves too! That means another gold medal for New Zealand.

New Zealand is 15th on the list and we have 8 medals which are:
GOLD: 3       SILVER: 2      BRONZE: 5
